“Please check the instructions that came with your code” – как исправить?

So I just redeemed 3 months of game pass ultimate with reward points. I did as the email instructed to redeem the code but it tells me to “check the instructions, you may need to redeem on a different web page” below this it says to redeem on the console. But when I input the code on the console I get the same message to “check instructions”. I found an old question about this and tried the suggested URL:https://account.xbox.com/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode?doRedeem=0&token=#####-#####-#####-#####-#####, replacing the #s with the code as it says to do. In that case it says there were too many authetication attempts and to try again later. Any ideas how to sort this mess out?
